Welcome to Sicily. You arrive at Catania Airport and check-in at a historic family residence located in an ancient farmhouse and meet your fellow travelers. A delicious Sicilian dinner will be served to help you settle in and feel at home.

We begin the day slowly, with a Sicilian breakfast and a creative workshop to ease into the rhythm of the week, before heading toward Ragusa Ibla, the pearl of Sicilian Baroque. After lunch in a traditional trattoria, you will visit the beauty of the city center and its many local gems. The day will finish with a cooking class alongside a lovely Sicilian aunt.

We start the day slowly, with a Sicilian breakfast and a visit to a traditional frantoio where olive oil is produced and taste one of the most appreciated varieties of organic extra virgin olive oil in the world. The day continues in Caltagirone, Sicily’s capital of ceramics. After lunch and a walk through the historic center, we’ll visit the atelier of a renowned local artist, where you'll take part in a hands-on ceramics class and learn the traditional techniques that have made Caltagirone famous for centuries. Dinner in the farm house with candlelight concert in the family chapel.

In the morning, we set off to visit a renowned winemaker to taste red and white wines produced on the slopes of Etna, the highest active volcano of Europe, accompanied by a gourmet lunch. Later, we will explore Taormina, Sicily’s most iconic cliffside town, where ancient theaters, sea views, and elegant streets create the perfect blend of history and Mediterranean charm.

After breakfast, we head north to Cefalù to explore its historic center, Norman cathedral, and seaside promenade. In the afternoon, we continue to Castelbuono, a charming village in the Madonie mountains known for its slow pace and local delicacies. We end the day at a former monastery turned wine estate, where we’ll enjoy the sunset with the view of Aeolian Islands (Alicudi and Filicudi) and settle in for the night.

We arrive in Palermo and dive into a street food tour through Ballarò and Il Capo, tasting, walking, and soaking up the city’s raw beauty. In the afternoon, we reach Mondello, settle into a historic villa, and toast the day with a Sicilian aperitivo overlooking the bay.

We head west to Scopello, a tiny village suspended between cliffs and sea. We explore the ancient tonnara, and enjoy a long lunch with a breathtaking view over the Faraglioni. In the afternoon, we board a boat to glide along the dramatic coastline, then return to our villa in Mondello as the sun begins to fade.

We ease into the final day with a slow morning. We gather for a farewell lunch to share stories, smiles, and a final taste of Sicily. In the afternoon, we assist with transfers as you head toward the airport of Palermo — carrying with you new friendships and vivid memories.
